When asked during an interview with Radio Times whether her mother had seen any of her new show, Minnie said: ‘Sadly not.’

Minnie continued: ‘But I FaceTimed her when I was driving the car on location and she came with me through the Wicklow Mountains.’

She added: ‘When I got the script, my mother read it over my shoulder. She loved it. We both thought it was an interesting exploration of what it means to love somebody new when your heart is still with someone that you’ve lost.’

Elsewhere in the interview, Minnie was asked about working with Modern Love season two director John Kearney, prompting the actress to reveal that they didn’t always ‘see eye-to-eye’ however added ‘but that doesn’t mean you’re not going to make something good or right’.
