Ronda Rousey and Conor McGregor may grace the cover of EA Sports’ to-be-released “UFC 2” video game, but it’s a new surprise character in the game that got people talking on Wednesday. It’s boxing legend Mike Tyson.
And there’s not just one Tyson to play, but two. Gamers can opt to play either as the young Iron version of the legend or the older Legacy variety of the 49-year-old boxer with his face tattoo.
Tyson was honored to be included in the game.
“I’m a huge fan of the #UFC so being in #EASPORTSUFC2 is amazing!” Tyson said on his Facebook page on Wednesday.
Tyson is now the second playable character in the game who has never stepped into the UFC Octagon. The first is newly signed UFC fighter CM Punk, whose first match has been tentatively slated for this summer.
The video game is set to be released on March 15 on the PS4 and Xbox One systems
